Sligro becomes automated with ReflexSystems

ALMERE, 9 January 2008 - Today Ger Poels from Sligro Food Group and Roy Meenderink from Reflex Systems signed the contracts for the large automation project. ReflexSystems' intelligent software and hardware proved to be the perfect solution to the Sligro Fresh Partners operation. The company has to bring five branches under one system and centralise the order and article management. The ReflexSystems ICT team specially developed the new Production plan module for this assignment. With that, the number of modules in the software package has risen to more than eighty.

In addition to a massive cost saving, Sligro Fresh Partners hopes to accomplish more efficient streamlining in the production. After installing the software and terminals, the well-known Flex 3000 CT's, five units will be operated centrally from the system. Furthermore, the entire legal channel entailed in tracking & tracing is a part of the programme. Ger Poels, managing director of the logistics control and ICT at Sligro Food Group, has high expectations of the recipe and calculation modules in particular. &lrdqWe can achieve real profit with them. Those men at ReflexSystems have seen to everything. You notice that this system is rooted in practice. They know very well how you can make savings and yet raise the quality at the same time.”
